Your Guide to Fall in NYC

There’s nothing better than a bike ride through New York City during the fall.

With nearly 85 new stations being added as a part of our ongoing 2019 Expansion, there is an endless array of new neighborhoods, parks and local shops you’re able to explore with Citi Bike now. Maria Hernandez Park, Bushwick
  • Nearby Station: Suydam St & Knickerbocker Ave

  • Breeze through this beautiful park in the middle of Brooklyn as it so happens to be right near the new Citi Bike stations that have recently been added as a part of the 2019 Expansion.

Central Park

  • A favorite of locals and tourists alike, celebrate the upcoming holiday season at one of the two ice rinks in Central Park - an iconic NYC moment. Take a ride to either the Lasker Rink or Wollman Rink within the park starting now through the winter months. And don’t forget to bundle up!

Ridgewood Youthmarket
  • Nearby Station: Putnam Ave & Wyckoff Ave

  • Stop by and do your grocery shopping at the local Ridgewood Youthmarket open every Saturday from 8am-3pm where you’ll find seasonal fruits and veggies from local farmers.

Holiday Markets
  • What a fun way to shop local, celebrate the holidays, and discover a new neighborhood while you’re at it. The Holiday Markets around New York City are officially in full swing! Stop by and visit the many vendor booths featuring local artisans and your favorite foodie finds at Bryant Park, Union Square, Columbus Circle, or Grand Central.

The New York Public Library
  • Nearby Station: W 40 St & 5 Ave

  • Stop by the 100 Years of the Picture Collection exhibition to view close to 1.5 million images of New York over the past century - while you’re there be sure to keep an extra close eye out for images of bicyclists in New York City at different points in time.
