Over 75 new Citi Bike stations have been installed and more to come!
Since the end of September, we’ve begun adding all new Citi Bike Stations throughout Bushwick, Ridgewood, and East Williamsburg— and we aren’t done yet! When our 2019 expansion is complete there will be 85 new stations across Brooklyn and Queens.
These neighborhoods are the first to receive new stations as part of Lyft’s investment of $100 million to double the Citi Bike service area by 35 square miles in the coming years. Following Bushwick, Ridgewood, and East Williamsburg, the next areas to join the Citi Bike network will be all of Upper Manhattan as well as neighborhoods in the South Bronx, with NYC DOT and Lyft outreach beginning this fall.
